Donald M. Flack is a former Judge and accomplished trial attorney with vast trial experience on both sides of the bench. He primarily focuses his practice on representing individuals who have suffered significant injuries due to the negligence of others. Throughout his career, he has handled cases in more than 20 venues across 10 different states. While on the bench, Don also presided over dozens of jury and bench trials.
In addition to trying numerous cases to verdict, he has served as arbitrator and mediator for dozens of liability lawsuits, as well as handled appeals in state and federal courts across the country, including the U.S. Supreme Court.
Don attended Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, where he obtained a degree in Business Administration and Economics in 1993. He then worked as a steelworker at Laclede Steel (now Alton Steel) in Alton, Illinois, before earning his Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law. He graduated magna cum laude from SLU Law in 1998, having won several Academic Achievement Awards, earned the highest overall score in Moot Court, and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Saint Louis University Public Law Review.
After passing the Bar, Don immediately began representing injured people, initially focusing his practice on assisting injured workers before expanding his practice to also handling cases involving defective products and medical negligence. After honing his trial skills for several years working for a very successful local law firm, Don started his own office before eventually moving to the Bench. He now puts all his experience to work not only helping his clients obtain a recovery, but also walking them through the legal process with the compassion and care they deserve.
